What's New in AUDIENT?
Our Resource Partners – mutual support during difficult times
Ann Thomas, Vice President, Membership of the Diablo Valley California Chapter of the Hearing Loss Association contacted us requesting 100 brochures that will be placed in strategic locations. The Diablo Valley Chapter is one of 23 chapters in 13 states that have participated in disseminating information about AUDIENT in their area. Because of the economic downturn, we got to talking about how difficult it is to find sponsors to fund mailings and newsletters. Then we got to thinking of how we could help each other. We agreed that the Diablo Valley Chapter will place the AUDIENT brochures in strategic locations in their community. A list will be made of these locations, and in six months or so, when the brochures have most likely depleted, AUDIENT will do a mailing to these locations and will include fliers with information about the Diablo Valley California HLA Chapter that they will provide.
