Local Outreach Project 2009 – Conclusion

The mission of the Local Outreach Project 2009 was to help AUDIENT providers by disseminating information about their participation in AUDIENT to potential service partners in their area. The work is now complete, and reports are being sent to the providers who participated. Casey Tart, our Program Services Administrator, sent information packets to 180 locations in 14 states. We have seen some signs of additional activity in these areas and hope to see it grow as our new resource partners work with our AUDIENT providers to help reach out to people in need.

Interesting note: Pennsylvania had the highest number of hearing care provider participants in this project.
