AUDIENT is very happy to publish our fourth newsletter. We
hope that our newsletters help keep us in your mind. Taking a look at
our referrals for clients that purchased hearing aids through AUDIENT
last month, we saw that a third of our clients found out about
our program through their hearing care provider. It is due to this
outreach that these individuals are able to receive hearing care that
they would otherwise not be able to afford.
We are constantly impressed by the dedication of those in the hearing
care world spreading the word about our program. We always ask our
clients how they found out about our program and the list of our
supporters is constantly growing. Recently, one of our applicants told
us that she'd found out about us by picking up our brochure at a senior
day at her local casino!
We appreciate the support you've given us and encourage you to continue
telling those in need about our program!
Please give potential AUDIENT patients our phone number 1-877-AUDIENT
and we will send them an application. You may also have them download an application
on our website (www.audientalliance.org).
Visit the AUDIENT booth and say hello!
AUDIENT will be attending the following upcoming

Please stop by to introduce yourself and pick up some
AUDIENT materials!
What are AUDIENT patients saying about our program?
"I can once again participate more fully in
conversation, watch TV with volume at a normal setting, and actually
perceive the direction of sound, not to mention just being aware of and
being able to participate in life going on around me."
-- Shari, Bremerton, WA
"I want to thank AUDIENT for helping my mother,
Miriam Stull, to get hearing aids. She's had them about two weeks and
is doing well with them. What a difference! Happily, at our Christmas
celebration, she'll be part of our conversation because she'll hear
what is being said. She adjusted to them much better than I thought she
would."
-- Janet, Upper Black Eddy, PA
"My old hearing aids, which were purchased some 10
years previous, no longer could provide for my hearing loss....
Fortunately I happened to read an article about the AUDIENT program in
a local paper. Feeling I had nothing to lose, I sent [AUDIENT] an
email. The result? I filled out the forms that you sent me and within a
very short period of time, I received new affordable hearing aids. Oh
how wonderful it is to hear!"
-- Dennis, Bradenton, FL
