About
Us
AUDIENT is an affiliate of the Northwest Lions Foundation for Sight & Hearing, (NLFSH). AUDIENT was established as a hearing care alliance bringing together suppliers, hearing health care professionals, and related groups with the common goal of providing access to quality hearing health care for persons currently without adequate financial resources.
AUDIENT alliance improves hearing care access by:
a) increasing access to quality hearing aid products; and
b) developing a framework of quality hearing care services for determining income qualification and hearing aid candidacy.
NLFSH has a broad global vision of expanding AUDIENT into developing countries, so that accessible, quality, hearing health care can be introduced to benefit individuals in need of hearing care around the world. NLFSH is a not for profit 501(C)(3), and all revenues from the AUDIENT program alliance will be directed back into developing its charitable global mission.

CASEY TART

Program Services Administrator

Casey was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina, and is a recent transplant to the West Coast, having moved to Seattle in June of 2007. Before joining the AUDIENT team in March of 2008, Casey's work focused on educational research at a large non-profit organization located in Research Triangle Park, NC.
Casey graduated from East Carolina University in 2003 as a double major in English and Psychology. Although her career path post-graduation has been in the social science field, her interest in literature and creative writing has continued to be a focus during her free time.
Since she's still a new Seattleite, Casey spends a lot of her weekend time exploring different neighborhoods and familiarizing herself with the city. Although the rainy days are good for staying in with a book, Casey can also be found wandering in parks, shopping, and checking out the local music scene.
